Cairo Sound Music Festival is an annual event in the UAE bringing the mysterious spirit of Egypt into the futuristic Emirates with the most popular Egyptian superstars and bands.
Cairo Sound -Music Festival- gathered music-lovers in the heart of Dubai. Rock bands Cairokee and Massar Egbari, reggae artists Sharmoofers, rapper Zap Tharwat, DJ Khaled Hussein and virtuoso oud player Mostafa Ghazal presented the unique mixture of western genres and traditional Arabic melodies. Famous Egyptian blogger Marwan Younis made a perfect MC for the event. Cairo Sound -Music Festival- was the bands’ first live concert in Dubai. It became a warm reunion of Middle-Eastern expatriates from all over the UAE and neighbor GCC countries.
The second round of Cairo Sound Music Festival was held on January 26, 2018, at Du Arena in YAS Island. The 12-hour lineup will include the superstar and judge for the new season of the popular TV contest "The Voice" Mohamed Hamaki, and classic soft-voiced the iconic Aida El Ayoubi who gained incredible popularity all over the Middle East in the early 90s, the trending with over 7 million views in less than a week Abu. Popular DJs Khaled Hussein Ft virtuoso oud player Mostafa Ghazal and Percussionist Bakkar will entertain the public with their unique mixture of modern house music, retro mixes and traditional Arabic melodies for the second time. Cairo Sound Music Festival is meant to become a warm reunion of Middle-Eastern expatriates living all over the GCC region. The event remains a full day family festival catering for the music preferences of all generations, family-friendly along with many activities, a wide range of food cuisines.
